Swim in our spacious 12 x 7 heated pool, open from 15 April to 15
October, depending on the weather. The pool is surrounded by a protective fence, in the
middle of a beautiful meadow with palm trees, sun terrace, swings, badminton . There is a
shallow end for children.

Five minutes away from sentout, across the D10 road, on
the lake of Baurech, a water-ski station has opened in 2002. |

Children bicycles are available for
guests use and there is a "Vélo station" in Créon for
adults. There are
car-free circuits starting from Créon and plenty of quiet, safe roads
round the château. |
| The fifty acres of beautiful grounds provide a wide variety of walks
and we provide maps and information. Horse riders can enjoy trekking through the forest
and vineyards. |

You can play table-tennis, badminton, boules and basketball by the pool
and there are (free) tennis courts a mile, down the road in Tabanac. We can provide all
the equipment free. |
| Atlantic beaches and the bay of Arcachon are within an hours
drive, with miles of sandy beaches. The sand dune at Le Pyla with its surprising desert
landscape is the highest in Europe and is a great favourite with families. |

There are well over 10 excellent golf courses within an hour by car
around Bordeaux and over 30 in whole Aquitaine. We provide full information about them:
address, holes, greens, fees, booking, restaurants etc... |
| Canoeing is available on local rivers, fully equipped with canoes,
kayaks and training courses. Over 40 miles of circuits on 3 shady rivers. |

Many famous painters and writers lived locally and you can visit the
châteaux of Montaigne, Montesquieu, Mauriac and Toulouse-Lautrec as well as renowned wine
chateaux.. |
Local cuisine may be prepared on request and brought
to you for a modest charge. Numerous restaurants around château Sentout offer a good
variety of French cuisine, children are accepted in every restaurant and special children
menus are served in most of them. Prices range from £ 6 to £ 15 per person. |

Sentout has many local attractions to entertain you and your family: Bordeaux town, Medieval villages
and towns: St Emilion, La Réole and its cars museums, Bazas, etc and the colourful markets in Créon (Wed) and Cadillac (Sat).There
are boat tours on the Garonne and Dordogne, a stilt school at St Symphorien, Aquacity at Arcachon,
Ecomusée at Marqueze, and visits to Sarlat and
prestigious caves in the Dordogne . The coast is within an hours drive and boast miles of
sandy beaches with all the usual facilities of sailing, surfing etc...More about Aquitaine
